This site has been designed to be as accessible to as many people as possible. Text is kept simple and linear, pictures contain ALT text where appropriate. This site works well with browser magnification tools and pages can be printed without images. As the site contains a lot of photo galleries, some pages may be slow to load. I have tried to optimize load times and keep photo quality good. To view the galleries you require flash player to be installed on your PC. This can be done by visiting the Adobe web site and downloading the appropriate files for your PC. Once downloaded, simply run the file, restart your internet Browser and click on the galleries you wish to view. To download directly, click on this link Adobe Flash Player

Browser Compatibility.....
This site has been tested with I.E 7 - Mozilla FireFox - Safari and Google Chrome. I've noticed a few errors when using Google Chrome and this is mainly where PHP is used. Looking at the Google Forums, this seems to be a known problem. Hopefully a fix will be added in a future release. Browser compatibility is tested on a regular basis.

Montgomery Wales Web Site (G17)...
G17 provides IT & ICT solutions for Home & Office as well as community 
run web sites such as this. G17 approached the Town Council in 2007 with an idea for a community driven, central web site that would provide information about Montgomery, not just for visitors but also the people of Montgomery. The Town Council agreed and allowed G17 to run a web site under the Council's own domain name.
As a resident, I knew what I would like to see in a web site, as a keen technological busy body, I knew the site could encompass the very best "web" experience that would draw people and organization into the internet arena without the need to learn all the jargon that goes with it. Working closely with the Town Council, Montgomery Wales is the result.
