As part of the Show’s Industrial Section (Catering) this year, will be a special bakery competition under Class 64, as follows:

As you know, we already have Banbury and Dundee cakes, Anzac and Shrewsbury biscuits. We would like you to create an original recipe and then bake either a cake or biscuits which epitomises Montgomery. This might be achieved through the type of cake or biscuit, the local ingredients used, or a combination of both. Your original recipe must be displayed with your entry. Maximum plate size 25cm. Entries will be judged on originality and taste. Undoubtedly this is the baking prize to win!
