Established in 2002, Morwens Montgomery Meats produces quality Welsh Black Beef and Welsh Lamb on the family farm in Forden near Montgomery. Phil and Elaine Owen, Taste Montgomery members since its inception, also have an on-site butchery to process their meat so food miles are kept to a minimum and you can be sure of the products origin.
In 2020 they started do all things piggy including curing bacon and hams as well as making sausages, which include a coarse gluten-free variety. Although the actual pigs are not reared by on the farm they are locally sourced.
Meat can be purchased direct from the farm, the Spar in Montgomery, Montgomery Market on Thursdays or delivery can be arranged.
