Castle Kitchen
A café, restaurant and delicatessen, Castle Kitchen occupies two floors of a characterful 18th Century townhouse on Broad Street, offering a cosy interior and a sunny flower-filled garden in which to eat.
You might find it hard to decide what to choose from the menu or specials board, full of wholesome and freshly made dishes, using locally sourced ingredients; don’t worry, Alice and her friendly team are always on hand to help. (A firm favourite with many customers is the delicious soup served with a warm cheesy, herb scone and butter, or try their epic carrot cake if you fancy something sweet, ‘mmmm).
In the delicatessen section there is a good selection of delicious fresh and store cupboard products to take home, including locally made bread, chocolates and beer.
